Should we pay a premium for the convenience of shopping locally or at times when big stores are shut? Inside Out West Midlands has discovered that prices for the same goods can be higher, sometimes by a big margin, in local branches of supermarkets and retailers run by some of the big chains. But is that fair especially when there can be little choice in practice about where you can shop?
