Episode 1

This episode follows the story of the largest drugs bust in British waters as the tug boat MV Hamal is stopped by Border Force and searched by the deep rummage team. What they find hidden onboard stuns even their most experienced officers.

The programme also follows police in Merseyside as they raid a drug-dealing gang and seize everything they can find at the gang's houses, from dishwashers to pairs of shorts and aftershave. Criminals' assets are sold off at a proceeds-of-crime auction, and we follow the sale of an enormous Hummer vehicle and the Tug MV Hamal, used to smuggle in the huge cocaine haul. After it was searched, Border Force seized it and put it up for auction.
