David Whiteley has an exclusive report on the latest idea for disposing of the plastic mountain. Researchers have found a way to make new 'greener' fuel from plastic mined from landfill. There are 5,000 'Goldilocks' sites across the UK that could be mined. It could be a potential money-spinner but some environmentalists say plastic should be left buried.
