Both the men's and women's marathons top the bill as the inaugural multi-sport European Championships begins its final day of action. Scottish athlete Callum Hawkins has had mixed fortunes at major events over the last year - he finished a superb fourth at the 2017 World Championships last summer but collapsed during the men's race in April's Commonwealth Games - so will be desperate to make the podium this time around.

Road cycling, diving, open water swimming and golf also take place.
