At the Edinburgh Festival, with Hamish Napier, Kaela Rowan and Adam Holmes

Bruce MacGregor hosts an evening of music in Edinburgh, with performances from Adam Holmes and the Embers, Kaela Rowan, and Hamish Napier with his Railway Band.

This week Bruce MacGregor brings you a very special edition Edinburgh Festival edition of Travelling Folk. He's joined by Adam Holmes and the Embers, fresh from their nomination for the Scottish Album of the Year. Hamish Napier debuts music from his new album The Railway, written to mark the transformation of the derelict Grantown East railway station into a new Highland Heritage and Culture Centre. He plays with Patsy Reid, Fraser Stone, Ewan Robertson and Ross Ainslie. Plus the beautiful voice of Kaela Rowan, performing with James Mackintosh and Ewan MacPherson. All on stage in front of an audience from the BBC's Big Blue Tent at the Edinburgh Fringe.
