Ian Hunt introduces live coverage from the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff where, over the next seven days, 128 players will contest the Welsh Open title. With eight tables in play, matches will be coming thick and fast with 32 first-round matches to be completed over the course of the day.
Defending champion Stuart Bingham is first up, followed by Pontycymer's Ryan Day against Australia's Kurt Dunham.
