Brian goes too far, and Shula attempts to ignite a spark.

Clarrie is drafted in to work an extra shift at the dairy since Susan is busy brainstorming kefir ideas with Tom.

Will asks Clarrie if she can babysit in the day as well as the evening as Nic has picked up a cold from the vintage fair and Will has an important meeting with Brian. Will is quick to check that Joe won't be telling any more of his ghost stories - Poppy was awake half the night after Joe's 'Umbrella Man' invention.

Will gives Joe the picture frame that Nic bought him at the vintage fair. Joe is delighted; he will put his favourite photograph of Susan in it.

Shula suggests cooking a steak for dinner Alistair is confused - it's midweek, they don't usually have steak in the middle of the week. Exasperated Shula says it would be a nice reason to sit down together and talk, after getting so many questions wrong at the Tea Room's Valentine's quiz, it feels like that's exactly what they need.

BL aren't going to halt work on Berrow Farm after all. Brian's convinced that Martyn had no real plans to stop work he just wanted to focus as much attention on the contamination at Home Farm as possible. Between that and Jennifer's picture in The Echo it was one of the most humiliating meetings of his entire life, he tells her. Brian berates Jennifer further, has she tried calling the Echo to see if they'll remove the photo from their website? She tells him she has but worse still it will be in tomorrow's printed edition. Brian accuses her of deliberately setting out to stab him in the back.
