Emma's full of remorse now that Nic has lost her job. She goes to see Jolene about giving Nic her job back but Jolene's already given her shifts to Toby.

Later, she tries to make things up with Nic and visits her at home. She tells Nic that Fallon will need an extra pair of hands at the Vintage Fair in Darrington on Monday and if she makes a good impression then maybe Fallon will offer her a job at the Tea Room with Emma. Nic says she'll talk to Fallon about the Vintage Fair but she can't work with Emma. Emma vows not to give up, she's determined to get Nic a job and patch up their friendship.

Nic wants to go to a dance class but Will's not keen, he says that "there's as much chance of getting me on a dance floor as there is of me bowling for England."
Kirsty and Philip go birdwatching and Kirsty opens up about Tom, the wedding, and her miscarriage. Conversation turns to Kirsty's job, Philip thinks she could do anything and they kiss.
