Kirsty opens up, and Toby is out of his depth.

It's Toby's first lambing shift at Brookfield but he's exhausted. He picked up Nic's shifts at the Bull so it was a late finish for him yesterday but he's got Eddie showing him the ropes so everything should be fine (Pip hopes).

Philip and Shula are taking part in the Easter hunt. Philip takes the opportunity to ask Shula for some advice - he had a great time with Kirsty when they had lunch together but now she's gone quiet, he wonders if he came on too strong? Shula's not quite sure what to say but thinks that Kirsty doesn't know what she's missing!

Eddie hopes Toby won't be there when Pip gives birth - he'll be as much use as a chocolate teapot but he'll make a sheep farmer of him yet.

Later, Philip sees Kirsty and apologies - he should've realised that she wouldn't be interested. She's then forced to tell him the truth her going quiet on him had nothing to do with him, it was a year since she had the miscarriage, her and Tom have arranged to meet to mark the day. Philip knows exactly what that feels like his ex-wife had two miscarriages before they had their son.
