When guitarist Wes Montgomery gave a concert in Paris, with guest Johnny Griffin, it was considered to be his best ever performance. Resonance Records have now issued the definitive recording remastered from the original ORTF tapes. And, in a matching sequence, the Nigel Price Quartet join with Vasilis Xenopoulos to recreate some celebrated saxophone-guitar performances of the past.
