Erica and Lucia: The Gift of Life
As part of Listening Month, Conor McKay introduces real-life conversations from around NI. Erica and Lucia reflect on how an organ transplant has transformed their lives.
Friends Lucia and Erica met in the hospital in Coleraine, and it was the gift of life that brought them together. Lucia has had three liver transplants and Erica two. They've never stopped feeling grateful. They light candles for their donors and find joy in life where others might complain - even in the pouring rain.
