Derek Jacobi reads from a collection of Laurie Lee's writings.

These include newly discovered pieces by his daughter Jessy Lee, which return to the landscape and traditions of his rural home in Slad as well as a changing London in the last century.

Laurie Lee's ever-popular classic memoir Cider With Rosie launched his writing career in the late 1950s.
