Toby's life is changed forever, and Jennifer fears for her Christmas celebrations.

Johnny informs Tony that Adam has offered him a permanent post. However, to Tony's delight, he's decided to sign up for the next level of his apprenticeship.

Toby visits Pip at Rickyard Cottage and discovers that she didn't go through with her abortion. He tries to reassure her that it's still not too late. But Pip explains that she's decided to keep the baby. Toby assumes that this is a reaction to the terrible year she's had but Pip's convinced she can make it work. Feeling trapped, Toby walks out.

Jennifer isn't looking forward to Christmas. Debbie, Alice and Phoebe will all be elsewhere, and Kate and Noluthando are still arguing. An ecstatic Lillian breaks the news that her wedding is back on for Friday. Jennifer wonders how she'll manage to plan a wedding in a week. Lilian tries to cheer her up with an invitation to her hen party - it'll be a riot!
