Johnny discusses Adam's job offer with Jazzer. Jazzer encourages him to go for it - he shouldn't turn down a full-time job with a proper wage. But Johnny is still feeling guilty about taking Ed's job, especially after Emma impressed upon him how hard they're working to save a deposit. Jazzer agrees that the post would be perfect for Ed. Johnny goes to Home Farm to decline Adam's offer. Adam's disappointed - he was pleased with Johnny's work.

At The Stables the business is slowly recovering from recent bad press. Shula still feels down, but can't quite understand why. Alistair points out that they have Christmas to look forward to, and their holiday. He manages to cheer her up a little by revealing that he's booked a night in an ice hotel.

Lilian has been to Lower Loxley to cancel the wedding. Shula encourages her to have one last go at talking to Justin. But Lilian doesn't believe anything will have changed. Later, Lilian's discovers from their shared calendar that Justin keeps cancelling meetings. Jennifer wonders if Anthea is deliberately making sure she sees the alerts so that Lilian will realise Justin is heartbroken. Lilian is sceptical, but Jennifer thinks it's worth checking on him just in case.
