Pip comes to a life-changing decision, and Harrison imparts surprising news.

D.I. Thorpe and Harrison visit the Dower House to update Justin on their investigation. They are no longer enquiring into his potential involvement with the attempted murder of Matt. Justin sarcastically asks if he's a suspect in any other investigations. The theft of Fallon's bunting perhaps? Harrison still has a hunch that he's involved. But D.I. Thorpe is more interested in pursuing the Melling Equestrian angle. She reminds Harrison that he'll need to learn to see the bigger picture if he doesn't want to spend his career looking for bunting.

At Lower Loxley Elizabeth's busy setting up for 'Deck the Hall'. She and Eddie agree that Nigel would have loved it. Eddie hopes he hasn't upset her by mentioning Nigel. But he's always on her mind at this time of year - he'd have had so many good ideas. Eddie reassures her that she's doing brilliantly. Later Pip returns for some items she forgot to pack. She's taken a second test - there's no doubt that she's pregnant. And it's definitely Toby's. Elizabeth tries to help Pip to stop blaming herself. Having been through the same thing herself she'll support whichever decision Pip makes. Pip can't face telling her parents. She's convinced she isn't ready to have a baby. She's going to have a termination.
