Show us the money - where is the cash from the DUP-Conservative deal promised for mental health and deprivation?
As is often the case in Northern Ireland, it is the most vulnerable in our community who this programme needs to fight to give a voice to today. This centres around the DUP's deal with the Conservatives to keep them in government. The £1 billion agreement was broken down - we were told where the money would be allocated. Simple question to the DUP this morning: where is the money? There was £50 million announced this week for health and education. But what about the promise for mental health services? Where is the timetable? Where is the announcement? Where is the year one money? Stephen spoke to UUP MLA Mike Nesbitt, Dr Philip McGarry - consultant psychiatrist and former chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Northern Ireland, NI Conservative Frank Shivers, Phil Kelly from NI Socialist and Labour Party and Philip McTaggart who set up the PIPS suicide charity and community worker Ian McLaughlin.
Also on the programme, Nolan talks to broadcaster Robert Peston about politics and life after the BBC.
