Shula struggles to remain calm, and Jill has concerns.
Jill cooks brunch for David and Ruth before they leave for Portugal. Everyone's surprised when Shula arrives with Matt in her car. Matt has run out of petrol, and wants to borrow some from David. Shula curtly bids Matt goodbye, but he suggests he might see her again before long.
Shula offloads to Jill, she is fed up of fielding questions from Graham, who is a good vet but hopeless with technology. And she's still stressed about the Hunt Ball, but Jill thinks it will go wonderfully. While at Brookfield, Shula receives a call from Rafe. He tells her a Rhine cruise has been donated for the Hunt Ball raffle. Realising it's from Matt, Shula chases after him and tries to decline the offer.
Shula accuses Matt of trying to sabotage her and Alistair's businesses. Matt comments on Shula's vivid imagination and explains the donation is from his employer. Plus, Matt wants to give back to the community before he leaves. When Shula accepts, Matt asks for a Hunt Ball ticket. He points out that he should be there to present the prize. Shula reluctantly agrees. Matt reckons it should be one hell of a night.
