Quarantine Units and Rescuing Seabirds

Quarantine Units to manage the movement of livestock came into force in Wales this week. The Chief Vet for Wales say they aim to provide greater flexibility and prevent the spread of diseases and will replace free isolation units in use by keepers of cattle, sheep and goats. But the farming unions have been voicing their concerns over the summer, calling them a "threat" to small agricultural shows.
