Lynda worries about the fete, and Harrison has a difficult question to ask.

Harrison insists he had no choice but to arrest Jill. Meanwhile he's not looking forward visiting his parents to ask them for help to buy Woodbine Cottage. He wouldn't have arranged it if he'd known they're supporting his feckless brother, Marcus. On his return, Harrison isn't hopeful. He tells Fallon that Marcus's girlfriend is also living with his parents and she's pregnant.

The police visit Home Farm to investigate the racist graffiti. Lexi is not happy. Roy admits to her it him who reported it to Adam. They argue: Roy is adamant that this is a matter for the police, but the last thing Lexi wanted was to escalate the situation. Lexi tells Roy to leave her alone from now on.

When Lynda finds out that Jill assaulted Lulu Duxford with a flapjack she worries that the Duxford sisters will pull out of opening the Village Fete. Jill did try to apologise, and explain that it was an accident but Lulu wouldn't listen. Jill is pleased by the publicity generated for the Happy Friends Café. She is interviewed on Radio Borsetshire, but fails to strike a conciliatory tone. She apologises to Lynda and Fallon. Lynda points out that losing the Duxfords will be a devastating blow.
