Conflict in eastern Ukraine between government forces and pro-Moscow rebels in the breakaway regions of Donetsk and Luhansk has worsened and both sides are being blamed for violations of the peace plan, known as the Minsk agreement. Talk of a warmer relationship between Moscow and Washington since Donald Trump became president has led to worries in Ukraine that its interests are being sidelined. Is the country now out in the cold internationally?
