David's plan backfires, and Adam is left in the lurch.
As the new drone gets tested out at Home Farm, Alice and Adam discuss its pros and cons for the land. Adam's jealous that Alice persuaded Brian to invest when he never has any luck with Brian - and feels like he's never consulted. Alice is keen to avoid Lilian wittering on about Justin. But they agree it would be great for Justin to come and see all this new technology.
Shula asks how David is feeling after last week. Jill's quite upset about the row that happened at Brookfield. Shula passes on the good news that Alistair has secured a contract with the stud farm that Anisha approached.
Pip tells Adam she won't be buying cattle for the herbal leys because of everything going on at Brookfield. Furthermore, she won't be able to manage the mob-grazing herd this year. Adam can't believe her decision and urges her not to forsake her own career because of her parents' mistake.
In The Bull, no one will accept David's offer of a drink. Shula joins him for moral support just as Joe starts to drag up past disasters at Brookfield. Adam announces that Pip has pulled out of the herbal leys, which is news to David and Shula. Joe continues to bemoan the Archers and angry, hurt David storms out.
