A man is fighting for his life after being shot in the neck in Carrick yesterday. He's been named as Geordie Gilmore and is understood to be a high-profile loyalist. He had posted on his Facebook page on the eve of the gun attack "the days of the UDA putting people out of Carrick are over". There has been an ongoing feud between loyalist factions in Carrickfergus for some time. Stephen got reaction from UUP MLA Roy Beggs, Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson and we took your calls.
Also on the programme, yesterday we brought you the news that a scheme which helps severely vulnerable families in Belfast will have their funding stopped. Extern's Intensive Family Care Support, which supports around 240 families a year received a letter on Friday from Richard Pengelly, the permanent secretary at the Department of Health telling them of the decision. We hear from some of the families that Extern has helped.
