Bruce MacGregor presents the very best in folk and roots music from around the world.

The Danny Kyle Open Stage has been taking place at Celtic Connections since 1999 and has offered a forum for up and coming performers to showcase their work in a warm and supportive environment. Bands such as Malinky, Breabach, Rura and The Chair were all finalists before becoming successful recording and touring artists. We'll be hearing performances from this years finalists who are An Dha, Avocet, Dopesick Fly, Marianne MacGregor and the Magpies. The other finalists, WHYTE, weren't able to make it that night but we'll hear a track from them. Plus Bruce will be chatting to Liz Clark who runs the event.
