Henry didn't sleep well and Helen hopes he's ok at school. Helen admits she's still uneasy about Rob's disappearance. Although Tony has checked Rob's flat's empty, Helen knows Rob and can't believe he'd go halfway round the world to get away from them.

Later, Pat tells Lilian she's sorry that things didn't work out for her and Justin, but Lilian hints that things aren't so gloomy - they just need to be discreet. They discuss Helen's worry over Rob and Lilian tells Pat she can see Helen's point - why would she trust anything Rob says or does? Lilian seeks out Helen to give her the real reason behind Rob's departure, hoping it'll put her mind at rest.

Ursula turns up at St Stephen's and takes Alan by surprise. He's unable to answer her questions as to her son's whereabouts. All he knows is Rob left his job last week. Distressed Ursula is inconsolable. Alan shares the news of Ursula's arrival in the village with flustered Pat.

When Ursula confronts Pat and accuses her family of driving Rob away, Pat finally snaps. A horrible exchange ensues, with Pat delivering some painful home truths for Ursula. All her sympathy and patience used up, Pat does what she knows she should have done long ago, and orders Ursula off the premises.
