More twists and turns in the RHI scandal this morning. A former DUP MLA has launched an attack on Arlene Foster. In an interview in the Newsletter David McIlveen claims Arlene Foster is personally responsible for the Renewable Heating Scheme shambles. Meanwhile, DUP ministers say they are working on emergency legislation to reduce the projected £490 million extra cost to "zero".
Economy minister Simon Hamilton says he's seeking Sinn Fein's approval for the plan. But that came out of the blue for Sinn Fein finance minister Mairtin Ó'Muilleoir who said he was bemused to learn of the DUP's 'solution'. So what is going on and how is this crisis and stand-off between Sinn Fein and the DUP going to play out?
Also on the programme, the NHS is straining under huge demand for its services. But when it comes to the likes of obesity and smoking, should those suffering be asked to dip into their own pocket to help pay for a health issue they've caused? Vinny gets the views of commentator Brian Pelan and former MP Lembit Opik.
