It was one of the most dramatic days Stormont has ever seen as politicians got hot and bothered over the botched RHI scheme. The first minister was asked to stand aside over controversy, speaker Robin Newton faced questions about his role and the DUP were left alone in the chamber as the other parties walked out when Arlene Foster started to speak. That dispute was the result of a stand-off with Sinn Fein, after Martin McGuinness said Arlene was not speaking with his "authority or approval" after warning of "grave consequences" if the DUP did take the unilateral approach he is pushing for. So where does this go next? Stephen talks to Sinn Fein MLA Conor Murphy, UUP leader Mike Nesbitt, DUP MLA Paul Givan, Alliance leader Naomi Long, TUV leader Jim Allister and Newsletter's political editor Sam McBride.
Also on the programme, nearly two years after the Department of Health recommended the removal of a clause that makes it difficult for people to get some cancer drugs here, and it still hasn't happened. Northern Ireland doesn't have a Cancer Drugs fund like England. But what we do have is the Individual Funding Request or IFR. It's been criticised for its complexity and the use of something called the "exceptionality criteria". In essence it means access to some specialist drugs is only permitted if a doctor can show that their patient is different to 95 per cent of patients with the same condition at the same stage. Cancer charities have called for this requirement to be scrapped calling it unfair. In February last year, it was recommended that the 95 per cent clause be removed.
