Usha meets a prospective tenant, and Jill faces up to the enemy.

As Usha rushes out to meet Anisha at Blossom Hill Cottage, she opens the door on Rob who's looking for Alan. Rob can't believe the decision to reduce his contact time with Jack. He raves to Alan about how damaged his boys will be, and then enquires about the nativity - could he sneak in at the back to see Henry take part? Could he get Henry a Christmas present? Alan advises against these ideas, given the rule over no formal contact.

Usha shows Anisha round Blossom Hill Cottage and after some negotiation Anisha agrees to take it. She's not concerned about the property's bloody history but manages to get Usha to reduce the rent. Alan confides in Usha that he can't fathom Rob - perhaps not all of mankind is redeemable.

David tries to persuade Jill to hold back on her criticism of Toby so that they can have a happy family Christmas. Later, he apologises to Pip for losing it over the gin still. Pip feels that the very least her family could do is be polite with Toby. Jill questions Toby about his use of the farm workshop. He winds her up with sarcastic replies. Jill wants Toby to leave Pip alone and get off the farm, but cocky Toby's certain that that's not going to happen.
