Uncover Ulster-Scots culture, history and language from around the country.
There’s plenty of chat and music in this week’s programme; Fifers Willie Hill, Davy Swann and Craig Sloan tell Anne why they love fife music, the singing doctor - John Kerr - brings us his rendition of the Green Fields of France to the accompaniament of his daughter Lucy’s harp music and Alister McReynolds has a wee look at the Appalachian fiddle music of Eck Robertson. There’s also a yarn with Sam Dickson about his parade-leading dogs and with a nod to the American presidential election, a reminder of the Ulster Scots men who reached for the stars (and stripes) over the centuries.
