A damning report into how the PSNI train student officers has likened it to a military style boot camp regime. It describes the Garnerville regime as "pseudo-militaristic", with students marching to and from classes.

Also, an Assembly motion will be put forward by the DUP urging the Minister of Infrastructure to review the £90 fine. They want the fine to be reduced and are also calling for the first 30 minutes of parking in towns and cities to be free.

Plus, it was announced on Friday that US airline United is to stop flights between Belfast and New York just months after the Government had planned a £9m rescue deal. So is it now time for the Northern Ireland Executive to do more to create better links with Dublin airport?
