Rob finds someone who will listen, and Toby seeks inspiration.

Pip's dubious about Toby's enterprising ideas: llama-trekking for stag parties, something vague about Elizabeth and sparkling wine. Then, inspiration strikes and Toby heads to Grange Farm where he negotiates a temporary cider club membership. He samples the Grundys' special limited edition single variety cider and, for an extra fiver, he tries their sloe gin.

Eddie learns from a text from Alice that the panto is going to be Mother Goose. He reckons it's going to be blatant advertising for the Fairbrothers' geese. Just when they need every penny they can get from their turkeys for the rent! He withdraws all of his family from the production.
Returning from Grange Farm, slightly worse for wear, Toby is late for dinner. While Pip serves up, he reports on his tastings and then, suddenly feeling sick, he runs for the bathroom.

Alan bumps into Rob and mentions Ursula had asked him to look in on her son. Snippy Rob accepts a lift home from Alan and moans about having to see a psychologist. He's learned Helen's divorcing him by overhearing Susan gossiping out the back of the shop. Despite Rob's reticence, Alan perseveres but Rob says he doesn't need his charity. Undeterred, Alan states he can call on him any time and he'll be praying for Rob.
