Jill catches a thief, and Alistair has an announcement.

Alistair is called out to treat Bartleby. The pony has arthritis and will need on-going treatment. Joe urges Alistair to be lenient when he's drawing up his bill.

Alistair tells Shula he has agreed to sell his vet practice. She is grateful that he is doing this to make it possible for her to become a joint master for the Hunt. He says it is a real opportunity for her.

Toby and Rex have been arguing again. Pip can't understand why Rex would be so nasty. She offers to speak to him to help straighten things out but Toby tells her it is best left to blow over.

Pip calls round to Brookfield to pick up a couple of Jill's baked treats. Jill catches her and tells her she can't have any. They argue - Jill says Pip should be living independently; Pip bites back, accusing Jill of being jealous of Phil's first wife, Grace. Tearful Pip walks out, vowing to never eat her Gran's cakes again. When she returns home, she asks Toby to move in with her. A surprised Toby says he'd love to.
