Bruce MacGregor presents highlights from the 2017 semi-finals of the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year.

Bruce MacGregor with highlights from the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year Semi Finals 2017 which took place in Coulter Hall near Biggar on Saturday 8th October. We have chat and sets from all 13 musicians. Plus an insight into what it's like accompanying the semi finalists. And how it is to judge such a competition. Bruce will reveal who will be going forward to the finals at Celtic Connections towards the end of the programme.

And we mark the passing of fiddler Angus R. Grant of Shooglenifty who died this week - we'll be playing a couple of tracks.
