The Hammers won this match 2-1 at Upton Park last season thanks to goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll, but Saints exacted revenge in the return fixture, winning 1-0 through a strike from Maya Yoshida. Both sides will be looking to build on impressive 2015-16 campaigns - West Ham ended the season seventh, one place behind Southampton.
