Helen hopes she can help, and there is a new offer on the table for Pip.

Pip calls on Toby hoping to clear the air. She admits she was aware of their open relationship arrangement and shouldn't mind about it. She suggests they go back to being what they were, friends with benefits. But Toby has a better idea. He wants them to ditch any other 'friends' they may have, and be exclusive. Pip's more than happy to comply.

Brian and Jennifer fill Elizabeth in on the tractor trauma of the previous night. Brian's disappointed in Alice, though he reckons she was egged on by Pip and Josh. Jennifer urges him to forget about it for the moment and enjoy the opera. As the curtain goes up Brian notices Lilian and Justin in the audience, and speculates that they're more than just friends. Jennifer tells him not to be ridiculous.

Kaz is distraught that her ex-partner has managed to take control of her daughter Courtney. At first she rages, but eventually goes eerily quiet. Helen does all she can to help, with little success. And the situation takes a dire turn later when Helen makes a disturbing discovery - what has Kaz done?
