Rescue teams are working through the night in central Italy to try and find survivors trapped beneath the rubble, after an earthquake leaves more than 160 people dead.
The Italian Red Cross says the number of people killed in the earthquake that struck towns and villages in a central mountainous region on Wednesday morning has risen above 160. The UN says President Assad has used chemical weapons at least twice in the past two years. Students at the University of Texas have distributed more than 4,000 sex toys at a rally to protest against a new law permitting guns to be carried on campus.
