Shadow Home Secretary Andy Burnham has won the contest to become Labour's candidate for Greater Manchester's first mayoral election next May. Elsewhere, Team GB have added more medals to their name this morning. Ed Ling took bronze in the men's trap shooting and Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow produced a stunning display to win bronze in the men's 10m synchro diving.
