Harrison doubts himself, and Rob is feeling generous.
Elfworld is still in a bad way after last week's storm. Joe suggests they set up a new attraction in the cider shed: a hospital called the National Elf Service. Eddie and Joe talk over the problems with the farmhouse - the electrician thinks the whole place needs rewiring and the surveyor is coming back to look at the damp. Joe is superstitious about the fates that have visited Grange Farm recently. Still, Eddie reminds Joe not to get his hopes up about the possibility of them continuing to live there.
Fallon comforts Harrison as he worries about his ability to captain the cricket team. Rob turns up and talks cricket, which makes Fallon feel uneasy. When Ambridge are fielding, Rob strikes up conversation with Fallon. He lectures her that cricket is all about being in the right psychological state.
At the end of the match against Darrington, Harrison thanks Rob for his tactical advice, calling him the "twelfth man" of the team. Rob invites the team to the pub but Alistair, Fallon and Harrison decline. Harrison realises that he must be careful not be seen to be too friendly with Rob with the upcoming trial. When Rob asks Adam and Ian for a drink, Adam says it would be inappropriate as Ian is a character witness for Helen. Rob's nice side disappears, telling Adam there isn't an act low enough his so-called husband won't overlook.
