Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present the 6000th link in The Chain! The Chain is a seemingly never-ending series of records, linked to one another by a musical connection WITH NO REPEATS! Since its inception back in 2007 on Radio 2, the Chain (first record: The Chain by Fleetwood Mac) has surpassed many an expectation, with its milestones as diverse as Chuck Berry - Memphis Tennessee (#1000), David Bowie - Fame (#2000), Dizzee Rascal- Bonkers (#3000), The Beatles - Dear Prudence (#4000) and ABBA - Dancing Queen (#5000), NEVER EVER REPEATING A RECORD and all suggested by the loyal Chain-loving listeners. So, why not put out the bunting, festoon the trestle tables with a selection of crisps and chocolate digestives and join us for this special day when the Chain reaches yet another milestone - plus we'll be joined by MC Gordon 'The Voice of the Chain' Burns to mark the special occasion.
