BONFIRE
Concerns a bonfire, similar to one which led to residents having to leave their homes, could be built again. There was controversy last year after the huge bonfire was built in Chobham Street in east Belfast. There were pledges that there wouldn't be a repeat for this year's 11th night. But there are reports pallets are piling up again on council land beside a play park built on last years site. Stephen spoke to UUP councillor Jim Rodgers and Alliance Councillor Mervyn Jones

GAY MARRIAGE
Is a referendum the way to decide the gay marriage issue in Northern Ireland? We're asking that question today after a new opinion poll - and the experience of the Brexit vote. Have your views on directly asking voters been changed by the EU referendum campaign? The new opinion poll by Ipsos Mori indicates strong support for allowing same sex marriage here. It found 70% backing - similar to the 68% a year ago. Stephen got the views of Simon Calvert from the Christian Institute and John O'Doherty from the Rainbow Project

Disturbing reports of racist incidents in the UK. But can it be connected to the Brexit vote? Patrick Corrigan joined Stephen, as did Luke Gittos, Legal Editor of Spiked online magazine. He has been writing that the "post-Brexit 'hate-crime spike' is not all that it seems".

Are nicknames at school on the way out? Regular Nolan Show contributor Chris Donnelly, whose day job is as a teacher, has been lamenting the demise of the nickname. He joined Stephen this morning along with commentator Andrea McVeigh
