Hazel Irvine and Dan Walker present live coverage of the 150th Open, held at St Andrews.

One of the oldest and most prestigious tournaments in the sporting world, the 2010 Open would see history made if Tiger Woods, who lifted the Claret Jug at St Andrews in 2000 and 2005, wins on the famous Old Course for an unprecedented third time.

Eight golfers took part when the Open was first held in 1860. Woods is one of 156 competing, as is recent US Open champion Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland, who became the first British winner of a major since 1999.
