In the reverse fixture last season, Wales needed to beat the Italians by a huge score to stand any chance of the winning the title. They didn't disappoint in Rome, running in eight tries as they thrashed their hosts 61-20, but ultimately it wasn't enough and they narrowly missed out on points difference to eventual champions Ireland.
