Hailing from Newburgh New York, the 43-year-old innovator has been a permanent fixture in the poetry scene since the mid-'90s. He's also won awards as a beat-minded actor, filmmaker and public speaker and has performed everywhere from the White House to the Sydney Opera Center and the Louvre. He curates a selection of his favourite music including Lou Bond, DJ Elmo, Thelonius Monk and Nine Inch Nails.
