Tender Education & Arts
Tender Education & Arts is a charity that engages young
people in the prevention of domestic and sexual violence. We use arts-based
workshops to help them to recognise, avoid or escape from unhealthy
relationships. Young people learn skills to help their friends if they see
early warning signs that they’re at risk.
Since 2004, we have worked with over 100,000 young people in
schools, youth centres, hostels and healthcare settings. Tender aims to engage,
to challenge, to entertain and to stop abuse before it starts.
Discussion
Tender Youth Ambassadors lead a discussion about sexual consent with their peers.
Drama Workshop
Secondary school students take part in a drama workshop to explore their rights and responsibilities in relationships.
Tailored Projects
Tender workshop leaders work together to design tailored projects for at-risk young people.
