Wendy Holden and Eva Clarke
Eva Clarke (pictured right) turned 70 last year. She was born in April 1945 in Mauthausen – a notorious Nazi death camp. Despite being pregnant and close to death, her mother Anka had survived her experiences there and in Auschwitz… Sadly, Anka passed away in 2013. Today her daughter Eva and the author Wendy Holden (left) join Hardeep to talk about the book ‘Born Survivors’ which tells Eva’s story as well as that of two other babies born during the Holocaust.
