First Round: Day 1, Part 1

Colin Murray introduces live action from the Lakeside Country Club as the 2016 BDO World Professional Darts Championships get under way. 40 men and 16 women from 16 countries do battle for the coveted prizes, won last year by Scott Mitchell and Lisa Ashton. This afternoon, three-time Lakeside runner-up Tony O'Shea takes on Welshman Jim Williams, who is making his second appearance at the tournament, before Lisa Ashton starts the defence of her title against Paula Jacklin.
