Butterworth Family
Series in which families try out life overseas. Can Gavin persuade his wife to uproot their life for a second time and emigrate to the other side of the world?
When his father fell ill eight years ago, Gavin persuaded wife Tracy to give up the life they had built in London and return home to Belfast. Reluctantly she agreed but, ever since, Gavin has never felt truly settled in Northern Ireland and has struggled to find regular work. Now he has set his sights on another move, this time to Australia.
He believes the country could offer his young family a brighter future and allow him to develop a successful career in the wine business. Tracy has a lot to give up at home though - a successful career and a close-knit family.
Gavin is confident that a week in Adelaide will be enough to convince his wife to uproot once again, but is he right?
