A former soldier describes his failed attempt to bring an Afghan girl to the UK.
A father of four from West Yorkshire has admitted trying to smuggle a three-year-old Afghan girl into the UK from Calais. Rob Lawrie wanted to bring her to live with relatives in Britain. He told 5 live: "All rationality left me and I knew what I had to do". There's also reaction to the government's plans for more testing of seven-year-olds in English schools, and a look back at five famous food scares.
