Another day another plaster cast!
Cameron aged 12 (who is called Jack in the appeal) is an ardent sports fan and always manages to keep smiling after yet another knock at school. Cameron also happens to be one of the Brittle Bone Society’s keenest fundraising champions. He is looking forward to the next BBS Cool Bones evert for youngsters his age – meeting friends who understand what it’s like to have OI.
Cooking up experience for those living with a rare disease
Teenagers with OI attending a BBS youth event; where they enjoyed a cookery class, equipping them with skills for their journey towards independent living. Our charity – breaking the cycle of isolation and making learning valuable skills fun!
Scaling heights & learning not to be afraid
Richard aged 21 attending a Brittle Bone Society Youth Event in a specialised wheelchair (currently) costing £20k that the BBS helped to fund. Here we see Richard trying outdoor pursuits for the first time, making new friends and gaining information on what he needs to know about independent living.
