Usain Bolt is the main man on the track in the evening session - the Jamaican six-time Olympic champion will look to win his fourth consecutive 200m world title. Bolt has endured an injury-disrupted season and is likely to face tough competition from 2015's stand-out sprinter - the American Justin Gatlin.
Britain's reigning world champion Christine Ohuruogu also has a title defence on her mind today in the 400m. In 2013 in Moscow, she needed a nailbiting photo finish to take gold ahead of Botswana's Amantle Montsho - will she cut it fine again today?
