City couple Abz Love and his girlfriend Vicky Fallon have their dream of a new life in the country dashed when their mortgage falls through. A smallholding that comes up for auction keeps their plans for living a self-sufficient green life alive. Leaving the music business and city life behind them, they move into their new property in a remote Welsh valley, only to discover that the land is beset with problems.
